Contemporary Kitchen Remodel

This 1950's kitchen had not been touched in 60 years. By keeping things simple this remodel presents a contemporary (Ikea) kitchen with a timeless allure. While the stainless steel gives the integrated kitchen a glossy shine, horizontal wood grain cabinetry softens the appeal.

Bathroom Remodel

Richard collaborates on design plans and fixture selection, he pays special attention to detail and holds fast to a printed schedule of completion. He has done three major remodel jobs for me to my complete satisfaction. —Carson S.

This 1950's master and guest bathroom was revamped with a streamlined design. A walk-in shower replaced the old tub in the master. New stacking tile, chrome trim and custom wenge wood cabinetry reinforce the modern contemporary design.

Idyllwild Deck

Richard removed an old deck from our house in Idyllwild and built a new one with striking architectural detail. I like working with Richard because he has a good eye, is a talented craftsman, listens to his client, provides fair estimates of cost and time to completion, and he is very efficient. –John T.

This "want-to-be" torn down dry rotted and carpeted deck needed updating. Replacing a few structural beams, installing all new clear redwood planking and lowering the height of the corral-looking fence made the deck a fresh new inviting space for entertaining or just relaxing.

Landscaping

This front yard was transformed from a barren circle drive into a stunning piece of living art. By removing the crushed rock circle driveway and adding areas of height and depth a new palette was created. A flagstone path takes you to a journey from the custom made gates to a pristine fountain placed at the entry to the veranda. It is simply enchanting for the owner and their visitors alike.

French Door Restoration

Restoring two pair of 1930's French doors preserved the integrity and character in this historical Spanish Palm Springs residence.

Idyllwild Storage Shed

Several months after the deck (pictured above) was completed, Richard built a beautiful storage shed in the backyard which compliments the design of my home and the deck. He really knows what he is doing and I trust him. –John T.

In building this custom shed I was able to utilize my woodworking talents. It is a great addition to the owner's garden.
